D’Oude Pastorie becomes Melt
After running the restaurant d’Oude Pastorie with heart and soul for exactly 20 years, it was time for a breath of fresh air. Our interior was given a makeover and the name ‘d’Oude Pastorie’ was replaced by ‘Melt’. The same trusted quality, but with a trendy new look.
Why the change?
The culinary world never stops evolving, and neither do we. Nowadays, we are increasingly finding inspiration in wonderful flavors and influences from all over the world. To keep up with these exciting culinary trends, we felt it was time for a fresh start.
Although the name ‘d’Oude Pastorie’ served us well for 20 years, it no longer fully reflected our new vision. With the name ‘Melt’, we deliberately opted for freshness and modernity. It is a contemporary concept that allows us to continue surprising our loyal guests, whilst at the same time welcoming a younger audience.

With this atmospheric, accessible concept, Chef Jan began stepping outside the box and experimenting freely with surprising, global influences. It was so enthusiastically received that it served as the perfect launching pad for our revamped narrative.

The name Melt was not chosen by chance. It symbolises everything we aim to achieve in our restaurant:

- The fusion of warm, vibrant flavours.
- But above all: the coming together of people. A place where friends, family and new faces gather round the table to enjoy themselves and make memories.

Got something to celebrate? You can rent our atmospheric restaurant for your private event. Whether it’s a family dinner or a corporate drinks reception, we’ll take care of everything down to the last detail.
Prefer to host it at home or in the office? Then we’ll simply bring our flavours, atmosphere and genuine hospitality straight to you. Our chefs will cook on site and we’ll take care of the rest. That way, you can enjoy the perfect restaurant experience wherever you are.
